Sam and his brother Hyrum and his wife Alicia all rode in the Tour de Phoenix this year. It is a 74 mile ride. Sam rode last year with no training so this year he wanted to better his time. Overall he ended up cutting about 3 hours off of his time. He did awesome!
Sam is in the red jersey. Hyrum is in the green just behind him and Alicia is hiding behind Sam. They were riding tandem. I can never time those pictures right. Oh well.
We first met up with Sam about 40 miles into the ride. He looked great! 
At the finish line. There time was just over 3 hours. Crazy fast!
